George is an exceptional veterinarian, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He cared for our dog when he arrived in stage three liver and kidney failure, and his expertise quite literally saved his life. Throughout the entire process, George was incredibly compassionate and gentle with our dog, while also being kind, patient, and understanding with us as owners. His professionalism is matched by his genuine love and passion for animals, which is evident in every aspect of his work. We are deeply grateful for his dedication, care, and tireless efforts in saving our beloved pet. Thank you, George, for everything you have done for our family. I honestly could not recommend George and Radu enough at Assisi Vet. They both go above and beyond for the animals in their care. Our beloved dog Wendy recently passed away but we were very lucky to have her so well taken care of at Assisi. She fell very ill 4 years ago and was wrongly diagnosed at our previous vet but was given the right treatment at Assisi and we were so fortunate to be given extra time with her. George and Radu are extremely kind and have often spent hours after closing / missed lunch breaks to look after our Wendy and stay with her when she was so sick along with other animals. They are open on weekends and late nights which is also so helpful. Can’t thank them enough and fully trust both George and Radu!

My dog did teeth descaling at Assisi and it was a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, they responded very quickly and the price was reasonable. On 25th December we found a cat under our building, and on the next day, Assisi is the only open vet in Swords area. The staff helped us find the owner of the cat.

I can’t thank Dr. Radu enough for everything he did for our Great Dane, Bella. She became very ill and needed urgent surgery, which was a very stressful time for us. From the beginning, Radu explained the whole process clearly, reassured us, and showed great care and professionalism. The surgery went smoothly, and Bella recovered so well under his care. What really stood out was the aftercare— Dr. Radu followed up with home visits, checked in on Bella regularly during the first week, and gave us the support we needed to help her heal. We are so grateful for his skill, kindness, and dedication. Bella is doing wonderfully now, and it’s all thanks to Dr. Radu. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a vet who truly goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners.

Our cat's paw was run over by a car and we urgently called George's clinic and they admitted us right away, gave the cat a painkiller injection, examined her to do an x-ray and have surgery if needed. the cat is 13 years old and we were worried about how she would handle the anesthesia. so George did tests and checked her heart. unfortunately all the bones in the paw were broken and the paw had to be amputated. We were allowed to visit the cat after the surgery and pick her up the next day. George is a very attentive doctor, explained everything, always supports. A week has passed and the cat is recovering well. George is always in touch and answers all my questions. although I understand that I am panicking and asking too much, George patiently answers everything. In any other clinic I would have waited all day and not always waited for the doctor to call me back, I had a traumatic experience with another clinic. I recommend everyone to choose George for their pets. 🙏🤝
